The Two-Phase Pathway
Our structured approach is designed so that early jaw and arch corrections in childhood reduce the complexity of treatment during adolescence. Problems that often require surgery in adults can frequently be resolved with aligners alone when caught early.
Phase 1: Invisalign First
Designed for growing children to guide jaw and arch development during active growth.

Why the Age 7 Evaluation?
The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends an initial evaluation by age 7. At this stage, first molars and incisors have typically emerged, making bite and arch issues assessable. Dr. Chersa determines whether treatment is needed immediately or if monitoring is the best approach.
The Role of Parents
Unlike fixed braces, success depends on cooperation. Aligners must be worn 20β22 hours per day. Parents play a vital role in monitoring daily wear and reinforcing hygiene habits. We use iTero 3D scanning to show you the planned tooth movement before we even begin.
